When you are afflicted with a hearing impairment, you need help from someone who knows how to treat your impairment – and how to treat you. At Central Illinois Hearing (CIH), we believe the only way of diagnosing, evaluating and treating communication disorders is by taking the time to know our patients, their needs and the frustrations they face.
“People need to be able to trust the judgment and wisdom of their healthcare provider,” says clinic Founder Dr. David Groesch. “At Central Illinois Hearing, people will be allowed to make informed decisions on what best suits their needs in a relaxed, caring environment.”
It's estimated that more than 37 million people in the United States, or about 10 percent of the population, have hearing, speech or language impairments. But, the good news is that most people who suffer from communication disorders can be helped through medical technology or surgery. The clinic staff diagnoses, evaluates and treats communication disorders in patients of all ages, from early childhood to adults. We also take pride in offering a “frustration-free” environment – an easy-to-access, first-floor location staffed with friendly people who know you by name.
